FIFY and it makes the answer much easier to figure out

On comparing line alone A&M wins.

No. aTm's two OTs are going up against potentially 2 of the top 10 picks in the draft. LSU's D-line is much deeper than aTm's O-line. LSU rotates all the time and there is minimal drop off when they do.

My prediction is the game hinges on if A&M can stop LSU.

Yep. In the 30s

I can say with relative certainty that Texas a&m will not score 30 points on LSU's defense.

I'll go on record to say I think this game is 31-13 in favor of LSU.

I think LSU figured out some of their OL issues last week and won't hesitate to go at the DEs for aTm with the running game similar to how they played Clowney and Taylor. I think they will be able to sustain drives and have the lion's share of possession. I think you will see several quick passes coming from Mett to negate pass rush but I don't think aTm has the secondary talent that SCar does. I think LSU makes more improvements on offense in this one and actually finds the endzone.

On defense, I think Manziel will be contained in the pocket and forced to beat us with his arm. He prob won't get sacked unless it's a nickel blitz, because Kiki and Sam know that if they speed around the corner, Manzeil will take off through the void they just left, similar to how they played Driskel and Shaw. I don't believe aTm will have a legit running game and LSU's secondary will be keying on Swope to shut him down.

I think Kyle Field will be jacked up and this game will be close through out the first half...aTm may be leading at half, but the 180 plays over the past two weeks, combined with the physicality of LSU's offense will wear down the aggie defense and about midway through the 3rd, LSU will start pulling away. LSU wins the battle of attrition due to its depth and wins going away.

Expect something similar to what happened last night with Oregon's high-powered offense vs Arizona State's great defense.

A blowout. LSU simply will make mistakes on offense and will not be able to keep up, especially playing in Kyle Field.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
Total Defense
LSU 2nd
Arizona State 8th
Oregon 43rd
A&M 72nd

Total Offense
A&M 6th
Oregon 8th
Arizona State 24th
LSU 73rd

We have over a half dozen future NFL DL. Mingo & Montgomery are 1st rounders on the edge, Rasco & Edwards will be middle round picks. Logan & Freak will be Top 3 Rounds and Downs & Ego will be drafted as well.

Tell me about how this is a toss-up again?

Arizona State lost to Missouri. They haven't beaten a team in D1 with a winning record.

LSU is not Arizona State and aTm is not Oregon.

You are correct - Oregon doesn't have Johnny Football.

LSU's schedule thus far;
North Texas (2-4)
Washington (3-3)
Idaho (1-6)
Auburn (1-5) Note: LSU almost lost to a 1-5 team.
Towson (3-3) Note: LSU struggled here.
Florida (6-0) We all know what happened here.
S. Carolina (5-1) LSU won this one.

A&M's schedule thus far
Florida (6-0)
SMU (2-4)
SC State (2-4)
Arkansas (3-4)
Ole Miss (4-3)
La Tech (5-1)

I remember the Matthews kid from the Cotton Bowl. Giving up sack/fumbles like a goon.

A&M wins if:

A few things, furk the run. Yall are gonna run it down our throats, but that's ok. We bend dont break and stack it in the redzone hold y'all to field goals. Keep it close in the first half and dont turn the ball over. Expect A&M and johnny to look like we did in the first half against florida. That much is set in stone... but here's the kicker IMO: A&M moves the ball in the second half and doesnt get shut down to not getting a first down ala Florida, A&M wins this... in a big way. The hurry up kills teams in the second half, and I'll put the conditioning of the Aggies this year up against anyone in the country.

LSU wins if: they make johnny leave on a stretcher. That or get 6 turnovers, but even that doesn't always stop us.

Collins is an NFL lineman, as well as vadal Alexander (only a frosh) and trai turner.

I think you are downplaying the Lsu defense. They stuck it to South Carolina...

True, but if A&M scores first and continues early LSU will be forced to change.

This won't happen fwiw

Lsu will execute their game plan either way with minimal adjustments.

Average yards allowed;
La. Tech - 555
LSU - 219
555 + 219 / 2 = 387 yards avg

Manziel's avg yards earned - 393

Should be an average game for Manziel.

Manziel will have around 160 passing yards 5 sacks
2 INT's
1 fumble

A&M just never really gets it going and gets shocked. The A&M fans will complain about the refs cheating for LSU and how mean the Lsu fans were

34-13

Jeremy hill, Kenny Hilliard, Michael ford, and spencer ware wear down the A&M defense in the second half
