It may be worse...Hunter Henry is the only kid on this roster who can catch the ball.

We still don't have anyone that can throw a spiral, much less a completion.

Briles will most likely be coaching at UT or A&M next year.

They may

Mort seems to think Sumlin has an NFL opening with his name on it.

Why the hell would we fire Sumlin to hire Briles?

The Eagles gig was his if he wanted it last year.

Two other teams requested an inrerview and we're promptly rebuffed.

I could see Sumlin in the NFL one day I guess. Though part of what makes him such a good coach--and what he also enjoys the most--is the development of young men and recruiting.

Regardless, he'll be at TAMU for at least 3 more years before he seriously considers it.

Jeff Long just shot down the Texass rumors.

Maybe the whorns will get desperate enough to consider Jay Jacobs or Eric Hyman.

Maybe every school has to pretend to offer Long, so they can say they are committed to doing the right thing.
I mean he did the hard thing, but the right thing in firing Bobby. So maybe it's just a way to show everyone they care just as much about integrity.

Why Stanford "offered" him. Why Texas wanted to "interview" him.

That wasn't Long, it was the Vice Provost for Student Affairs/Dean of Students call. He does all the food/drink/Chartwells stuff

Dude, Texas isn't the reason we won or shared the West 4 times.

Darren McFadden, Madre Hill, Peyton Hillis, Matt Jones....we're all Arkansas kids.

Petrino didn't recruit within our borders like he should have.

Louisiana Tech has an All American caliber back that Petrino didn't think was worthy. That's just one example.

For Arkansas to be competitive in the West, the Hogs have to lock up the state, hit Oklahoma, hit Missouri, get 2-3 out of Texas, and go national.

I could have swore he said he was drinking a diet coke on twitter once, so I doubt switching to pepsi was his call.

I would assume it was a money thing though, if it was.

The entire campus switched. Not an athletics thing.

I heard Coke offered $10 million, required exclusive rights, and are notoriously hard to deal with

Pepsi offered $20 million, gave Coke 20% shelf space in Club Red, and a bunch of on-campus shite they threw in for free

So yes, Dean Pugh knows Coke > Pepsi, but Pepsi doubled Coke's offer and then some. It made $$ and sense

Yea, something like that.

Also some type of stocking issue, where Coke would only make so many trips to campus per week.
