Lol all you want.

I love the new basketball and baseball facilities being built while looking at the new football facility not to mention the green lit on the football expansion.

There isn't anything left for him to do here and Texas is the biggest AD job in the land.

Maybe not be a great contractor and be a great AD. We haven't won shite since he's been here.

Outside of Nick Saban, no one is going to recruit well enough to Arkansas to turn that program around. You're the 5th or 6th most attractive program to recruits in your division. Bielema can't be successful in that scenario. Briles can.

I'm sure it's been discussed, but if he gets that job will they have to pick someone new to represent the SEC on the selection committee next season?

You probably think Kmart was worth nothing and lost millions I bet.

What's really funny about this is there goes half of the SEC's clout in the playoff committee.

I don't care if he leaves. He has done a pretty good job, although I was a bit underwhelmed by the BB hire; especially given the 9 month head start on the competition.

And the move to Pepsi absolutely sucks.

He is VERY well-connected nationally, just like Broyles was. I'm not sure that is always a good thing for us.

Briles hasn't proven he can recruit outside the state of Texas

Y'all need a guy that recruits the state of Texas well if you ever want to compete in the SEC again

False.

We went to the Sugar Bowl and 3 SEC title games on Arkansas talent alone. Now, if you want to win the SEC you need more depth and Texas certainly can provide that.

We haven't had a coach to recruit outside of Arkansas in twenty years. Coach B is the first to admit we are going right into Texas instead of Petrino heading over to AZ.

I prefer South Florida kids like Collins and Kirkland anyway. FL kids in general are tougher than Texas kids

It took like 3 years.

and he's old already.

The five years he could have given you are worth far more than the ten you get with Bert.

we lost our best QB, RB, WR and TE, not even Briles would've gotten this team to 8 wins.

Briles loses his starting QB every year. He loses guys like Terrence Williams and just keeps going.

This is the best team he's ever had and there are no bona fide stars.

Congrats?

Arkansas isn't in Texas.

So what's your point?

Petrino couldn't recruit period....that means within our borders as well.

Briles would have the same record as Bielema with this roster.
