why doesn't SEC just offer ECU if the tv market is all that matters.
So you think that ECU has the same fanbase as a NCST or UNC? psssttt, it's about selling the SECN. Not only is the ACC inferior, but you all are just dumb.

Ethics and all, I would assume the SEC wants no part of what the state of North Carolina has to offer.
Seriously? The SEC would take UNC in a millisecond

We can secure the RTP and Charlotte markets by taking NC State without having to deal with the UNCheat prima donnas.
UNC is a blue blood. Instant enhanced prestige, basketball GOAT, great academics, locks down more markets and eyeballs.....

lol i've told you so many times i don't care about conference. you assume that because you do, everybody does.
i follow a team, you follow a conference. i've asked you numerous times to identify the SEC team that you follow and no answer so far.
u really think a Clemson fan cares if UNC leaves the ACC, we hate UNC. lol if Clemson had an academic scandal like that, it would have got the death penalty the next day. nothing is going to happen to UNC.

lol at Mizzou trying to make the rules. 100/100 real SEC fans would take UNC over Mizzou in a heartbeat.

You obviously care because you are on here demanding attention. You jelly because Clemson can't get a bid. We would roll out the red carpet for UNC, our new besties....

You should as Tar Heel basketball is one of the biggest financial engines in the ACC and they are an AAU school (which Taters will never be). If you do not understand the loss of prestige and $$$$ you are just beyond dumb.

So then all the ACC has to say is, "Our decision to not play in NC is because we'd rather play elsewhere," and everyone should be happy.
Except that'd be a lie so how would that change anything?

CU only rarely plays them in football with them being in the other division

Could they land in the SEC if this happens?
That would be AWESOME.
Put both in the East, move Missouri to the West, alignment solved!

UNC doesn't make money for Clemson. i know that much.
what is your obsession with AAU schools. lol
that is just some marketing tool that universities use to lobby congress for research funding.

Adding NC State and North Carolina would be a bottom of the 9th down 3 walk off grand-slam. It won't happen, but anyone acting like it wouldn't be the best possible scenario of an "expansion" is laughably misinformed, jealous or stupid.
Hell, it would even fit geographically.
East
North Carolina
North Carolina State
Tennessee
Kentucky
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
Vanderbilt
West
Alabama
Auburn
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
LSU
Texas A&M
Arkansas
Missouri
NC State and UNC would immediately have regional rivalries with South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. North Carolina immediately has a giant in conference basketball rivalry with Kentucky. The SEC becomes THE CONFERENCE in North Carolina. Hell, the SECN is run out of Charlotte.
It's a win win win win win win win win. It would be just as great a fit as Texas A&M was (for all the same reasons mentioned above).

Show some fricking morals and abandon the Charlie Sheen mentality.
Sleeping with big-tittied skinny-ankled babes can still give you stuff that Ajax will not scrub off. UNCheat is loaded with STDs ... we should avoid them at all costs. They bring zero value to the SEC in the the long run and I seriously doubt UT, UGA, UF and SC would allow them to be voted-in in the first place. We've all had behind the scenes run-ins with them over the years on the recruiting trails ... they're skankier than Lindsay Lohan.

It would probably provide a kick in the pants to get the football program together as well.
Good to see Clemson and SCar fans rabble-rabbling on a scenario that isn't going to happen though.

While UNC has the bigger national presence I'd rather take NC State.
UNC appears to be one of those schools that falls into the dreaded Texas situation, though less toxic I will grant you.
We don't need, or for that matter want, prima donnas in the SEC. For all some babble on about how their university has more power then others the reason the SEC is doing so well is that all the member schools are treated equally.
Missouri and A&M got a seat at the big boy table the day they joined and an equal share of the money. The same for Arkansas and USC back in the day.
Right now Bama, for example, is a ratings juggernaut in football. The SEC is wise enough to realize that all things pass eventually and one day Bama won't be the golden calf for the conference. Treat all schools equally and whoever replaces Bama as the resident Kingpin in football will pick up the slack.

So what they're really trying to do is pressure the ACC to play in NC. If the ACC calls their bluff, NC won't be any better off by switch to the SEC because they still won't get the championship games.

if being in SEC didn't kickstart several SEC team football programs, like SC, why would it do that for UNC.
