Non-Auburn fans of the Rant: Has Gus Malzahn Peaked?

I'd like to get an unbiased discussion of if Gus has had the best season he will ever have while at Auburn. I'm not trying to suggest that Gus isn't a good coach, or that he won't field many elite teams. All I am wondering is if Auburn will ever have as good of a season as this past one with Gus at the helm.

If his program places enough emphasis on defense, then they can do better than last season. They'll need to deal with the Arkansas, LSU, and Georgia bug though.

If Gus was at Auburn for several years, and upon retiring his first season was still his best season, would you be pleased? I suppose that depends upon how many good seasons he had afterwards. I think I would be disappointed if I had a Dabo-like coach that repeatedly had good seasons but never wins the ultimate prize.
edit: not implying that Gus and Dabo are similar. That was just more of a stream of consciousness post.

What about that makes you think I'm upset? I know many fans of a particular fanbase have difficulty controlling their emotions, but I assure you it's possible to disagree or bring up a point that doesn't even imply disagreeing (the post you're reference) without getting mad.
