LSU's defense was bad up front and in the middle early on. The secondary has been good all season.
The Auburn game was a complete outlier for the defense. The offense couldn't get first downs, leaving the defense on the field the entire game against an very good offense. Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings were a combined 1-for-8 for 3 yards with no first downs on third down pass attempts for goodness sake.
Much better than it was 3 weeks ago.
Better than UGA's defense.
Not as good as it will be by the end of the season.

we have to beat the Gators, then there is something to talk about.

UGA is in a great position if they win out and win the SECCG they are in.
pretty obvious they win the East, question is who do they meet in ATL?

LSU has played two decent to good offenses and got gored by both of them.
True, but are you going to address UGA's defense or just deflect?
I asked if you think that UGA's defense is really deserving of being "highly ranked," and all UGA fans can do is say LSU's defense is bad or that UGA would beat a team they probably won't even play this season.

Fine I'll give it a shot. UGA's defense is miles ahead of where it was last year. With a front 7 that can stop the run and rush the passer, Pruitt is able to mask the lack of talent in the secondary.

I think this is yet to be seen. It's probably better than last season, but I haven't seen "miles ahead." If it holds Florida and Kentucky to less than 300 yards and 17 points, Auburn to less than 400 and 28 points, then my opinion will change.
As of now, UGA looks like it has a very good running game, a decent passing game, and a mediocre defense.

We won't be playing LSU in Atlanta. That's for sure.

What elite Rushing Offense have they faced this year ?

Arkansas from the way they talked

because its georgia. this happens every year and they always fail, so why waste mental energy on it?

Arkansas was the number 2 rushing team until we played them.

The only two decent rushing teams were Ark and USC. Both teams had 100 yard rushers for the game. Ark got behind early and had to pass the entire second half.

yea that's what happens when you get outplayed in the first half.
it's not like it was some big fluke chance.. (you know like skipping a pass off a defenders helmet or something)

54 Yard Touchdowns taken off the board kinda effect the outcome of games also!

it sounded like some lame-azzed attempt at defending Arky's lame second half...
for that lame attempt, -10 points to hufflepuff

because who have they beaten? seriously? They will get a chance to beat Auburn, at home, in a few weeks, and then have a quality win....I mean Marshall is having a good year too...
