Not a single team you have played is ranked right now.

Is that about the same thing as winning C-USA championship

perhaps you should leave that sort of talk to those in the West that have actually won a division title ...

Don't let facts get in the way of your argument. Clemson is ranked 21 by the committee.

Georgia may not win it all this year but we are in a good position. If we can avoid getting Penn Wagers I like our chances vs anyone. That being said, Georgia is on the rise. We are normally a consistent Top 10-15 in terms of recruiting but with Georgia high school football improving so much and with Georgia having so much success this year and with 2 big time recruits in the fold already for next year we are in great position to not only be good this season and the next but for a long time. The future is bright. Go Dawgs

They inexplicably lost to South Carolina

Inexplicably? We beat you at home, and you're a running team that can't pass. With no defense. It's not hard to explain.

I was going by the AP. Put Georgia in the top four for Christ's sake now!

Clemson is also ranked #22 in the AP poll. So your facts are still wrong...

If UGA ends up being as good as the West teams (I don't know if they are or not, right now I lean towards not, but I am not sure) then they absolutely have the best chance.

They basically have 2 games left. Auburn at home and an SECCG at a neutral site. Compare that to the other teams

Bama - @ LSU, State, Auburn, UGA
AU - @ OM, @ UGA, @ Bama, UGA
Ole Miss - Auburn, State, UGA
State - @ Bama, @ OM, UGA

Not even close. Their chance of losing a game is lower than anyone in the West solely based on # of games they have to play with a chance to lose and the fact that none of them are on the road.

This is the reason nobody is talking about UGA:

Clemson
South Carolina
Troy
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Missouri
Arkansas

Yea I'm going to have to say their schedule is tougher so far than 75% of the Big Ten.

Dude there has been a ton of talk about UGA over the last 2 weeks.

I do agree they've got an easy road to the playoff if they keep playing as they have recently.

Because they haven't looked that great and haven't really played anybody.

They beat Clemson. And lost to South Carolina.

So not much to base them off of.

Well, I disagree.

Dude take.a look at your JOKE of a schedule in 2010 and get back to me
No School should EVER be allowed 8 home games especially with an OOC
Schedule like the one played by AU that year

UGA has looked good, but against teams that are pretty tough to evaluate.

I have no clue what is going on with Missouri.

I give credit for the Arky blowout, but I do think that first half was a little flukish, which I don't think is a stretch given Arky's mental fragility from alternating between close games with good teams and blowouts. Bert basically said the same.

Either way, I think UGA looks pretty good. Unfortunately, they'll continue to be hard to judge, and will likely pay a slight penalty in rankings for that, until AU. UF and UK are similarly bad or difficult to gauge.
