poorest periods of QB Play
Other schools play the same teams; why aren't they dominating with poor QB play? Why is only Saban taking advantage of the poor QB play.
This reminds me of the excuse against Bear Bryant dominating during his time. Saying he had unlimited recruiting... which by the way the other schools had the same unlimited recruiting.

Prior to the BCS, if you lost one game it usually knocked you out of the NC picture.
There is more parity in college football now then there was in 1998. The game has changed tremendously over the past 20 years. You know this.
Since 2006, we have had 7 national champions with 1-2 losses.

Not only qb play, but SEC qb play.
Nevermind that Bama has played and beaten Colt McCoy, Tyrod Taylor, Connor Cook, Kirk Cousins, Deshaun Watson and others.

I'm not the one claim "We are witnessing domination on a level that hasn't been seen since Bud Wilkinson or Knute Rockne."
I am just presenting counter facts. Again, what Saban has done is very good, but in truth it is not any better than what Bowden accomplished at FSU.

Saban has lost 5 times to good SEC QBs. What would his record be if their were more than just 10 of them over a 9 year period ?
P.S McCoy played about 2 min.

Because of the BCS.

I think we are also seeing one of the poorest periods of QB Play during that same timeframe.
The league has seen three Heisman Trophy winners and one Heisman runner-up at the QB position since Saban arrived in '07. So I honestly have no idea what you are talking about.
Ignorant Auburn babble is what it is.

It's the way you think you are proving this that is alarming.
You think that the SEC's last decade of quarterbacks is lesser than what FSU was facing in the pre-Miami/VaTech ACC.
That conference was Clemson, Duke, Maryland, UNC, NC State, Virginia, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, and Florida State.

Only when you take parity out of the equation. Saban is coaching in a much tougher league and in an era where the teams are closer in talent to one another.

DA, from 1987-1999, Bowden never finished out of the Top 4 in the AP.

How many NC's did Bowden have? Your either stupid or severely butthurt

Parity is out of the equation, mainly due to poor QB play. The teams with decent talent can dominate those other teams because of QBs being the great equalizer to talent. Bama's weakness most years has been their secondary, but few SEC Teams could exploit it. When Saban did lose, it was because he played a QB that could.

I said it before, would have won 4 or more under the current system. He was always in the top 4 at the end of the year, and everyone considered them the best team by years end.
