I know a cute blonde girl in Atlanta who was taken straight to jail when a tiny bag fell out of her purse. She was in the slammer for two days then back for trial. Much larger fine, can't remember if she got more jail time.

Well I guess it's especially tragic as she was white, cute, and blonde, yeah?

What was the drug? If she spent 2 days in jail for a comparable weed offense I'd be stunned. But I'm guessing it wasn't weed.

You do realize that Georgia players are probably smoking weed as I type this?

I say ounces instead of grams and Aubies dance with joy at my miss. I tell this real life story from state of Georgia and not a single reply.

the penalty for having illegal drugs is $1000 and no jail?

$1000 is the MAXIMUM fine for possession of 1 ounce or less in Georgia. Your bullshite story lacking in specific fact doesn't change the law.

Had Nick wanted to fight this, he could have likely gotten the charge dropped after completing a diversion program.

In the south you are very lucky not to go to prison for 20 years for 8 grams.

Was gonna say, our basketball player that was recently arrested and dismissed had 10 gram on him.

Do you have her police report? How much was in the "tiny bag"? Did she have priors? Was she charged with something else along with possession?

Your example is not valid because you have no facts to back it up. And if you think that the police go easier on young black males with weed as opposed to "cute blonde girls" you are dumber than I thought.

As too are UGA students, Auburn students, Auburn athletes, Bama students and athletes, etc.

He had 18 grams on him (still less than an ounce for the uneducated), but his charge was a felony because he was also in possession of digital scales which allowed it to be classified as intent to distribute.

good lord you are dumb, yes that was the fine for one ticket. Your original point was 1000 fines dont happen for speeding tickets, but please continue to show how delusional you are

good gravy dudes- you're both sort of right. it wasn't more than one ticket but it was because of past tickets that had you not had those then it would not have been 800 buckaroos. i think the point is you need to slow your arse down.
