I know y'all do goofy shite with your laws in LA, but I cannot fathom any state where a first time drug offender is getting that sentence for 8 grams of pot. Hell, I'm struggling to think of a place that doesn't have drug court/pre-trial that doesn't come with a dismissal after 12 months.
