Someone the size of Nick Marshall, it is worth the chance of taking PEDs and getting caught vs getting cut. Nick is a great athlete, but his size was always going to be a factor at the next level. He has hung on for two years, but I think he realized time was slipping away.

However true that may be, LOL at your defense of this certain episode.

He was already the ideal size for a CB

He's listed at 6-1. How is that not ideal size for an NFL DB. One of best young DBs in the league is Marcus Peters, and he's even at 6-foot.

Not defending, just stating facts. You are either stupid or naïve if you do not think football players will take a chance with PED in order to make an NFL Roster. I knew a Bama player in the 80s that told me that half the NFL potential draftees took steroids their last year in college to increase their chances of making a team (especially if they were late picks or FA). Testing has gotten better since then, but so has masking.

That is a weird comment in a thread discussing ped use. You know peds don't make you taller, right?

It's a lame excuse because Marshall is plenty big enough to play corner in the NFL. Period.

That point is debatable, but I don't really care. I just thought talking about his height as evidence he was ideal size and didn't need peds was weird.

The moment you realised Nick Marshall was even in the NFL.

It's really not.

This was a pretty good visual from 2013... (and while yes it's a little dated, he has updated the raw data as recently as 2015, but I have no desire to go plot it).

LINK

It covers both height and weight of starting corners... Whether he has the skills or athleticism for the position at the NFL level is another question altogether, and that's where PEDs come into play.

It's not really debatable at all considering there are plenty of CB's his size in the NFL.
