Hot Browns themselves? Meh.
Dude, you have to go to the source, not some lame imitation in some place in LEX.

I've had one at the Brown Hotel in Louisville. I thought it was decent, but not great.
Can't imagine how it would translate to nachos though. I guess they just put turkey and bacon on there and use nacho cheese sauce instead or mornay sauce?

They had them at the State Fair. I didn't try them, but they were apparently delicious. I believe it's shredded/pulled turkey, bacon, tomatoes, and mornay sauce.

Basically anything with bacon is good, the question is if you much it up in what you add to it.

I guess that doesn't sound bad.
I'd give them a try.
I'd give them a try.

That would likely be better than the sandwich.
I just wasn't a fan.

sounds like Petros (fritos, chili, sour cream, taco sauce and cheddar cheese...it's delicious). Tennessee sells petros at their sporting events

Same for Ramsey's in Lexingtton. Great hot brown, but your plans after you eat it better be to take a nap.

You'd pretty much be correct.
Everyone knows what it is, except for LSU fans.

Thanks for quoting the description

Nope. It lasted about 18 months, and they only had 2 employees working for over half of them.

So sad. I live pretty close to Tates Creek Center and would occasionally eat there. I actually liked Petros, but they royally fricked up putting the first one in lexington nowhere near campus, and then deciding to spend no money to advertise...

I'm eating bacon right now.

Humblebrag?
Ramsey's I might give you for a hot brown, Winchell's not so much
The trick is making it good but not greasy or soggy. Toast points vs soggy uncooked white bread,
Seems the high street, now Nicholasville location is best for overall food quality. Seems they closed 1 o2 2 locations in the past decade or so.
