Anything to take the mind off of Kentucky football.

Same. I had a good link that described all of the new selections (instead of just listing what they were) but I can't put my hands on it.
The Italian beef/cheddar croissant legit sounds good.

All this + liquor sounds like a great way to find yourself butt hugging a port a potty for half the game. Good lord.

Hot Browns are not good. Had one in Lexington a few years back at the behest of the waiter and didn't finish it.

quote:
A Hot Brown Sandwich (sometimes known as a Kentucky Hot Brown) is an American hot sandwich originally created at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, by Fred K. Schmidt in 1926. It is a variation of traditional Welsh rarebit and was one of two signature sandwiches created by chefs at the Brown Hotel shortly after its founding in 1923. It was created to serve as an alternative to ham and egg late-night suppers.
The Hot Brown is an open-faced sandwich of turkey and bacon, covered in Mornay sauce and baked or broiled until the bread is crisp and the sauce begins to brown. Many Hot Browns also include ham with the turkey, and either pimentos or tomatoes over the sauce, and imitation Hot Browns sometimes substitute a commercial cheese sauce instead of the Mornay.
Okay it's some shitty sandwich from some hotel in Kentucky. I'm sure everyone in the world knows what that is except LSU fans.
Go frick yourself.

sounds like Petros (fritos, chili, sour cream, taco sauce and cheddar cheese...it's delicious). Tennessee sells petros at their sporting events

I mean it IS pretty famous. In the sense that Derby Pie is famous. You not knowing about it doesn't really change anything.
But as I said earlier, even as a born and bred Kentuckian, it's almost never great.
Also it's from Louisville, so it's not really a Kentucky thing anyway.
