I love all of the games you listed, and I will say that Ghost of Tsushima is a must-play. That being said- I usually HATE online multiplayer games. Despite this, I ended up getting Helldivers 2. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve had this much fun gaming. $40 for an incredibly fun, wel...

re: your year in gaming 2023

2023 was an amazing year for gaming. Started off real strong for me with the Dead Space remake. I was a little late to the game, but ended up getting Elden Ring and loved it. Then picked up Jedi: Survivor and had a blast with it. So much improved on the previous title. After that, i finally got arou...

I’m ADD as hell. Life is having 17 browser tabs open in my brain at once, with any 3 of them playing music at any given time. So yes. My inner monologue is quite often a song stuck in my head. ...

Did you just start you first playthrough? Mid - late game you really become a lot less reliant on melee, so it’s not too big a deal. I really enjoyed the game and the melee wasn't a detractor for me, but I suppose everyone has their own tastes. I’m actually gonna go back and replay the game now that...

Was huddled in my pantry with a couple of friends at Sumner Place when it came through. Missed our house by a hundred yards or so. If we had gotten hit, those cheapass houses would have been blown away. NGL i still get goosebumps and a sickening feeling any time i hear a train (and I don’t see it)...

While I do think it would be cool if certain outfits gave Cal armor to decrease blaster or melee damage, or others could make him jump higher / run faster and other little enhancements, if the lack of functional cosmetics ends up being the biggest complaint about the game, I’ll still be very happy w...

Confirmed there will be fast travel! Just like in the Souls games, you will have to reach the meditation point to activate it for fast travel. For those that don't want to fast travel, there will also be rideable creatures to help you cover large distances much quicker than on foot. Honestly, I’...

re: JRPGs For Those New To The Genre

Its definitely not a traditional JRPG with turn based combat and random battles, but Nier: Automata is one of the GOATs. The combat style is more akin to what you would experience in the FF7 remake. Awesome story and very satisfying gameplay mechanics. ...

Just finished Platinuming Fallen Order last night in anticipation of Survivor. I’m incredibly excited. This was actually the first “Soulslike” game I ever played, and was a springboard into the genre. One thing I will say after having subsequently played Sekiro and Elden Ring: the lack of fast t...
