Forbes ranks:

Alabama
Auburn
Birmingham Southern
Samford
UAH

BSC is rated #115 by US News. Alabama is #86. Auburn is #91.

My apologies. BSC used to be the elite school in Alabama.

They are in the same park, but not better. I stand corrected and have updated OP.

Georgia- I would think Emory much more than Berry. And TBH Ga Tech and UGA would probably be considered above both of those overall.

Nah. It's Emory.

Kentucky would likely be Berea College. Maybe Centre College.

Centre. Even if it is a dumb liberal arts college.

It was Mike Dubose, and I don't think so.

Not trying to troll, outside of Vandy and maybe UGA, there isn't an SEC school in the mix for best academic institution in their respective states.

Kinda broad definition as "best", if you want to use some sort of ranking by a publication you can do that, but the reality is it depends on the degree.

In Arkansas there isn't a "one school fits all", there are several schools who have great degree programs, the "best" would depend on the degree you were looking towards earning.

Pretty much, Emory - Ga Tech and then everybody else in Ga. Now that PolyTech is part of Kennesaw St it has lost some standing as it's "watered down".

For Law it's UGA for Business it's Ga St.

For chicken farming it's Berry, schools in Ga are pretty easy to figure out.

D3 schools don't give athletic scholarships brah

They don't, but if you are recruited to the school to play a sport they find a way to fund your education through various scholarships.

Ah okay yeah. I know that Trinity and Southwestern (same league as Millsaps) will be pretty friendly with scholarships and grant money if a kid will be playing sports and would be admitted anyways

Interesting. I thought Berry was this elite, pretentious liberal arts school. They are in the SAA, which is like a Southern Ivy League for D3 schools.
