What would it have hurt to wait 2 weeks for Florida?

After seeing Florida State do the get down two TDs then snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat week in and week out, if Foley wanted Muschamp gone without taking a serious brow beating he was going to have to get him the frick out before FSU fricked up and lost to Florida.

And knowing that schools like Michigan are going to be searching it certainly doesn't hurt to get a jump.

Link to where Foley officially fired him? One tweet says Boom is stepping down. Let's see what happens. It's like folks make statements here soley based on what posters spew.

Maybe since his job isn't on the line- he would be all "efffff, this " and open the offense up instead of this one dimensional crap

When Hershel was playing I went down for the Carolina/Georgia game.

Met a family of Doghousers who invited me in for a super burger, fries and a brewski--really two.

We were having a great conversation until I asked who did they think was going to win the game.

The answer was short, sweet and completely without rancor, in a South Georgia accent:

"She--At," the gentleman said.

That is Florida's attitude about Morris. "She-At."

Muschamp was 4-0 vs. the Vol's.
I think we should all LOL at the Vols instead.

Muschamp is a good dude. When bad things happen to good dudes, there is no satisfaction. Especially when they are running their program into the dirt and we get to play them every year.Reinstate Muschamp!

Talk on ESPN radio has Florida looking for a new coach and the AD at Florida Mr. Foley said they would be looking for a HC not an assistant coach with one exception, Kirby Smart DC at Alabama. Source AP/UPI Sports International/ESPN Radio.

If that is actually true Mr. Muschamp there will be a DC vacancy at Alabama. Got to cover them bases.

frick off dude. Muschamp sucked as a coach. But he's a good man and DID do some good things like completely turning around our off the field problems.

I wish things worked out and he made better decisions on game day.

He basically was fired but he's stepping down because he will get a buyout...

Muschump has set Florida football back 30+ years. He has been the worst thing to ever happen to Florida. I don't give a shite how many humanitarian missions he makes. Foley needs to hit the bricks too. Total bullshite.

Absolutely agree. He wasn't working, and Florida gave him more than enough time to show any kind of consistent improvement. But I don't hate him. It's funny to me how some people are so keyed in to football they actually hate someone as if that person was directly trying to make their life worse by losing.

Muschamp is a good dude. That's why he lasted this long. If everyone that knew him well didn't like him a lot, he wouldn't have survived last season. It always sucks when you have an employee that is personally a good dude and you know is working there arse off but just can't seem to get the job right. I don't think any boss in history has enjoyed firing that person no matter how much they know they have no choice.

I wish him all the best where ever he goes.

Bob Stoops has to be a candidate I'd think.
