Mullen to Florida as HC is a legit possibility if Mac leaves. If he adds strong as the DC Florida will be a legit contender again and will spank FSU consistently

I would have to see it. How do you know that Mac is leaving ? Where is he going? Oregon? So, you are calling Oregon a better job than Florida? I don't think it is. I don't think Mullen is leaving but you never know.

It's not better, many are saying he will leave due to the difficulty and high expectations at UF.

Isn't winning the east good enough? It's Alabama world and everybody else is fighting for 2nd place. You do realize that Florida is 2nd in the conference?

Not when you see how down the East is right now.

2 offensive shutouts in 2 games vs FSU who isnt that good this yr. For an offensive guru who claims his dog can win running his offense its a little hard to get excited right now.

To bring some civility to this thread, I figure the Head Hawg won't be around too much longer, so the SEC Spring Meetings will be losing his wife and her bikini. And now, if Mullen was to leave the SEC, we'd lose his wife & her bikini, too. Mullen needs to stay.

The whole conference is down . I'm not even sure the SEC is even 2nd.
1) Big 10
2) SEC or ACC
3) SEC or ACC
4) PAC 12
5) Big 12

Mac has been one of the first names mentioned for Oregon. He's from the pacific nw. (sort of, montana)

The relationship between Mullen and Stricklin is the only why this is brought up. I don't know their relationship status. I know what i see on social media. Thats the problem. People listen to the media too much. The same media that has LSU going to the national championship every year. The same media that Jeremy Johnson is a heisman contender. The same media with Tennessee 2016. McElwain is still HC.

Now you're trying too hard.

Portlandia, Montana is pretty funny though

Stricklin not taking a coach away from MSU.

He might be getting paid by Florida, but the man still loves MSU.

I don't see Mullen to UF.

I get all of that. I'm just pointing out that if Mac leaves and Stricklin has to find a coach, Mullen should be a viable candidate. He can win way more a Florida than he has at MSU and that is just the truth.

In a scenario where Mac leaves his(Stricklin) obligation is to Florida. If he passes on the best candidate because he "loves" MSU, the Florida boosters should send his tail packing back to Starkville. This isn't show friends, it's show wins.

Mullen would be a great hire for Oregon.

His greatest moments in the past calendar year were:

Running the Boston Marathon and showing off his Yeezy 750s

Nike could marry him with some JustDoIt/ Prefontaine
Ad campaign and Duck fans would eat it up.
Bonus if Defense is still optional in the Pac12. I haven't watched west coast football this year

And never be able to return to you and your wife's home state or almamater? No chance. Poaching a head coach from State will not be an option for Strickland. Not that you could anyway. An SEC head coach hasn't been poached by another SEC school since Tubs in 98, 20 years is a little too long to be coincidence.

Mullen should be a viable option. He could very well be the 2nd best coach in the SEC. I guess that depends on who you ask, lmao
