Some other bulldog fan might can correct me but Meg Mullen was the one from Florida and convinced Dan to leave. She's the one the loves the small town community vs the land of air brushed tshirts and puka shell necklaces. But you never know with coaches and especially ones that just hired sexton as an agent.

Their AD's name is Mullens.

Nothing to do with anything, it's just kinda funny. To me, anyway.

Not that funny. If anything, it's very slightly ironic. To me, anyways.

Another "Mullen is leaving" thread? Honestly, I wonder who is behind this year after year.

I've gotten old age waiting to see him go. Still has not happened. I know what has happened, though....

MSU just kicked the dog shite out of Ole Miss. I mean a true beating. Ole Miss fans have wanted Dan Mullen gone since he came to MSU but it hasn't happened. By the way, Nick Fitzgerald is still running. Three Ole Miss defenders behind him lol.

it wouldn't surprise me at all if Spurrier took over UF - with Mullen's move cancelled, or Mullen comes as his OC 'coach in waiting'. Fisher was coach in waiting at FSU for 3 years, fyi.

Yeah I'm hearing:

Urban is coming back to UF as the Head Coach

Mullen is tired of making $4.5MM and is shopping for the OC job at Florida. I hear he likes a good project.

Strong meant to suck at Texas so that he could get his job back at UF as DC, hearing he can't wait to work with Mullen and Urban again.

Tebow has also found another year of eligibility.

If Mullen does leave it's because of these State fans.
*Starts out 3-5 ( Dan needs to go)
*Beats Texas A&M ( Dan is the man)
*Back to Back loses to Alabama and Arkansas ( Dan needs to go)
*Wins the egg bowl ( Dan is the man, we going bowling)

You have it arse backwards. Since he can win at State that can't recruit itself, he can win more at a place that CAN recruit itself. Pretty simple even for the lower APR school to understand

I thought all Ole Miss disappeared but they do exist. How does it feel to be at dead last again?

No, I don't. Successful coaches fall flat at new schools all the time. Success at one place does not mean you can win anywhere else. The truth is that any new coach is a gamble, especially ones that aren't proven at multiple other schools.

Oregon recruit itself? All of that home grown talent I guess.

That's called fandom. It can be experienced at every level and location and at any time during the course of a season.

Great. No where to go but up. Life goes on. Same salary, same cars, same pool, same business, same house, same camper, same wife, same kids, and couldn't watch the game on the cruise. Life is great still.

I didn't know it was so easy to trigger Moo St fans.
