How does it make you feel to lose to a team 3 out of the past 4 years that is so poor and beneath you?

Yea. Now you probably know how it feels when Alabama loses to your school.

So you're saying MSU is a third tier school? No wonder y'all have sucked for so long. The fans would rather be anywhere other than Starkville and you have no confidence in your own school.

I thought tGrind had more pride than that.

They split it up between their home stadium and Gillette.

State plays "at UMass" next week but the game will be played at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

UMass plays half or more of their home games at Gillette. When they first moved up the FBS all of their home games were there.

Their on campus stadium is tiny, lacking in amenities, and far from their major alumni base. Though they do want to eventually have all their home games on campus it seems like that won't happen any time soon unless they move back down to FCS.

Weagle25 has always had an obsession with Miss State. His obsession forces him to post 25-30 times on any thread concerning MSU. I mock his attempts to feel superior.

No.

They have a small on campus stadium.

Interesting take. I'll wait for the links.

Or I can save you time and tell you they don't exist

Maybe our fans think of it more as a bowl game like experience and our players get jacked knowing they'll be playing where NFL legends play on Sundays. Don't see the big fn deal.

Funny. FBS football in Jackson is done. The state gave that stadium to Jackson State University a few years ago. The administration at JSU is notoriously incompetent. The high school state championships aren't even played there anymore. Other than 5 or 6 JSU games a year, that stadium sits empty.

Oh, and JSU has been begging for a new stadium for years. Once they let Veteran's Memorial decay to unsafe conditions, I'm sure the state will cave and give them money for one. But for now, it's just a decaying relic of a previous era:

I don't see the problem with playing ULL in the Super Dome. Gets exposure in South LA. Fun trip.

Now...the @Troy, @USA, @UMass, etc....those are pretty funny.

62k fans split in half at Memorial Stadium was a unique atmosphere during the Eggbowl days in Jackson. Jackson has changed so much since those times.
