I told you stupid fricks last year that Ricky Woods was an Ole Miss homer.

Yes he is.

He's a damn good coach too.

Is Ricky woods an Om homer? No clue

Do I care? Not a bit.

Several homers coach high school football. Doesn't necessarily mean they're all funneling kids to their favorite school.

I'm not saying he's fricking with people, I'm saying he might be looking for an excuse.

To return the question, what would be the logic of us threatening to get his coach fired (not to mention how would we even have the power to do that??) for going to a camp after he's already committed and AJ Brown is already a Rebel? What makes this camp a bigger deal than those? That makes absolutely 0 fricking sense

What does Willie stand to gain by making this up?

I think the thought is that he was making up an excuse to tell OM reporters, assuming there was no way they would tweet out the DM.

I think it's high time Willie named names...he tweeted this shite out... now man up and name the person from MSU that made the threat.

If we did make the threat, I hope we do the right thing and get the coach fired anyway. Sometimes you have to shoot a hostage.

Mississippi State is such a fricking joke. They have to beg/ threaten 17 year old kids from STARKVILLE to go to MSU. That might be an indicator that Ole Miss is blasting AIDS loads in State's unwilling arse

Wouldn't it take much less effort to just say that he had a family emergency and needed to stay home?

I mean...if you're going to say "think about this logically"....then you should also think about this logically

There's a myriad of other excuses he could make that is much less severe than this one.

And he never specifically said that it was an actual msu coach. Could have been a dumbass booster trying to over-assert himself.

I agree with you and don't know why he would say that over other possible excuses. But then again I don't know why a booster/coach/etc. would be put over the edge by this camp when he's already committed to OM? Sounds like bullshite to me

The fact that Mullen does not have enough stroke to control SHS is what should be concerning you dumbasses.

Abundantly clear that this rivalry has gone too far IMO... the state can only support one D1 school. It's only fair for OM to voluntarily demote themselves to D3 to leave the SEC to MSU. Y'all can even DL a cowbell app for a stopgap when ya switch fandom

No doubt in my mind that this had nothing to do with an actual msu staffer.

You're putting a lot of faith into the sanity of an average joe booster. They're typically pretty fricking stupid and irrational.

The story is probably true. And it was probably some dumbass booster that doesn't actually have any control over anything.

But you'd be surprised at how much pull a high school booster can have. Couple of big boosters pull together and stop donations...that could kill the football program at a 6a school.

Why does this seem so far fetched? There's an eight page thread on ED talking about running off the SHS coaches for losing Gay and Brown. Sounds like they're just trying to follow through and got called out on it
