And you know this how?
Or has Freeze ruffled enough feathers that folks actually called the school district or mayors office to complain like they said they would.

God I hope they did. Fire them, to hell with it. They are just Ole Miss fans anyway, not real people.

So now you're insinuating the school board and mayor are involved? This is getting juicy

After all, lunatic OM fans were able to get C34 fired. Is it unreasonable to say that lunatic state fans couldn't do the same to an assistant HS coach?
Posted on 7/22/16 at 3:22 pm to fillmoregandt
Coach34 got himself fired. Once again, you're assuming the thought process over on ED is the same used by every other State fan. Why do you go over there so much?

No, just relaying what other state fans have suggested be done

I know this is hard to fathom considering the immoral operating procedures you guys are accustomed to, but the liklihood is very low. What's much more probable is a kid not wanting to participate in a camp since he's already committed, and using a bogus excuse or heresay.
Nobody that could, would consider having Woods fired. He is a MS HS Football coach legend.
And an OM homer..

The fundamental flaw of this entire saga is the assumption that someone would pressure a coach to keep the kid from going to a camp. Not signing, not committing, not an official visit... a camp.
The only way that is even possibly true is if the coach was going to drive Gay to the camp. Which is obviously it's own basket of fricked up worms.

So I just accidentally arrived at that pretty plausible explanation.
The coach was going to drive him to the camp. Was notified by his boss that it's illegal or that he couldn't do that, he then relayed it to Gay as his job being in jeopardy if he took him.

Most likely
AJ should just come pick him up in a rental

We can black-helicopter this all day long.
Bottom line is that state fans have been very vocal (on multiple sites including ED as well as others) that 'something needs to be done' about the perceived OM problem at SHS.
Then, lo and behold, Gay says what he says today.
Again, draw your own conclusions. Lot of smoke for there not to be any fire

No doubt in my mind that this had nothing to do with an actual msu staffer.
You're putting a lot of faith into the sanity of an average joe booster. They're typically pretty fricking stupid and irrational.
The story is probably true. And it was probably some dumbass booster that doesn't actually have any control over anything.
But you'd be surprised at how much pull a high school booster can have. Couple of big boosters pull together and stop donations...that could kill the football program at a 6a school.
High School boosters carry a ton of weight/leverage, especially in the public school's because booster clubs are the main source of income for paying coaching salaries. Around my area in the larger public high schools, boosters supplement the HC's & his staff's salary and pay for a brand new truck every other year for the HC. That doesn't even touch the booster $$ that goes to facilities & equipment.

.I don't think anyone really believes it's an actual msu coach that said this.

This is like some terrorists declaring that they are going to bomb an airport, then when the airport actually gets blown up, people are standing around saying "we can't blame the terrorist yet, we don't know all the facts"

That's a stupid comparison but here I am replying sigh
You're saying "fan" when you need to but the thread is geared otherwise.
Do you think anyone actually employed by MSU cares about an already committed recruit going to a camp so much, they'd pass word to a high school player that they would work to terminate the best current HS coach in Mississippi?

No, I do not.
Do I think some batshit crazy fan with a Twitter handle and too much time on their hands would do something? Absolutely.

I agree, the thread title is slightly misleading
