Of the past 10 years, in your opinion, who has the media and a lot of fans worn knee pads for but you just didn't see it.

I may enrage some folks on here with this one but here it goes....

Jadeveon Clowney- As much of a freak on the line as you'll ever see, but besides his sophomore year he just didn't put up the numbers you'd think he would with that athleticism and size. He should've put up Terrell Suggs numbers, not Myles Garrett numbers. He was good, I just never thought he was the player the media made him out to be.

Honorable mention

Trey Depriest
Glenn Dorsey
Ryan Mallett
AJ Johnson
Reese Dispukes

Clowney

Nobody has ever made as much money off a single play as this guy.

I think people forget how good Jadeveon Clowney was, and paint a picture of his career on his Junior year and injury-plagued NFL career.

Defenses planned AROUND Clowney. Clowney was double teamed every play.

Is it any coincidence that our defense sucked as soon he left?

quote:

"You don't see many players that have been double teamed, and triple teamed, and run away from and all that as much as he has this year," defensive line coach Deke Adams said in quotes released by South Carolina. "I think he's done a great job with it. I think he's handled himself well."

Someone is going to say Jerimiah Masoli but if you go back and look at the games he played he helped a team go 4-8 that should have gone 1-11. Just getting that out of the way.

Garrett is one of the SECs leaders in conference forced fumbles and tackles for loss.

Take your trolling arse somewhere else.

Yeah he's dumb.

Garrett has the SEC freshman record for sacks. A record he took from Clowney.

Right, those are good numbers for OOC play but Suggs had 24 sacks in a season...
