Just to set it straight, Kilo is probably in that 5% of Mizzou fans that wanted the Big10. It makes sense now, I knew I didn't like the guy..

There was no first or second choice. Two years ago when things were imploding the Big10 was the conference that wanted to expand, the SEC wasn't in that mode. So we went to the Big10. It helped that the Big10 fit us academically so it gained momentum internally. Fans just had eagerness to be in a stable conference, they were not hyped about a Big10 move.

When the SEC thing started a ridiculous amount of people went to extreme measures to push our admin to go SEC. It was way over 90% of fans that wanted SEC, that kind of behavior didn't happen with the Big10.

I think the bravado comes from all the trolling done by SEC folks. Sure, we were nice when we got here, but very few people seem to actually want to discuss football and instead say stupid shite and take things to a personal level. Mizzou fans aren't ones to tolerate that nonsense. We know our team is not top-notch, but we also know when people are acting delusional. [HINT- it's not the SEC refs that suck, it's the fans that fail to realize college football has rules and when the players break those rules, flags get thrown.]

Is there anyone that honestly thinks UGA is a top 10 program? I guess we'll find out tomorrow, but if Mizzou is so weak then why are the Dawgs a measly 2-3 point favorite? MU plays in a high school stadium and has no fans, so clearly the atmosphere has nothing to do with it.

Almost every single poster has acknowledged that the East is down this year. So even in a down year the weaker of the 2 divisions is light years ahead of the rest of college football with the exception of a couple well-known West Coast schools?

Too many SEC fans are whiny and make so many excuses. UGA fans (which seem to be more level-headed than most) are almost melting down about missing some starters. MU fans aren't making excuses about all the O-linemen going down or the fact that our star RB is out for the year.

You have witnessed some very excellent football so just enjoy it instead of rooting for injuries and talking of anal penetration. It is pathetic and sad.


Just my perspective. I have learned to jump right in and join the flaming but it would be nice if things didn't get to that level. I go over the top sometimes because this website is all about who can garner the most attention.
