Dude, teams lose. The Dynasty is only about half way over. 3 titles, 6 straight top tens, and a lot more to come. Bama is now, and will be the most talented team in the country for years.

We saw how talent was trumped by schemes and playcalling the last two games.

More embarrassing bowl loss - Bama or Auburn? Bama beat their chest for over two years claiming they were a dynasty. The best team in the history of college football. The Iron Bowl was an anomaly to their fans and players, that did not disprove their claims. The Sugar Bowl loss proved that they were neither a dynasty or the best in college football history. Auburn's team proved that Gus was ahead of schedule. The fact that he took them that far in such a short time, proved that AU will be a force in the future. Win or lose the BCSNC, nobody from AU was embarrassed.

So much bait. So little thought.

And to the OP it was Bama. Henry was the one player that played his arse off. The rest of the team? Meh.

We also saw how talent trumped play calling and gimmicks in the last game.

It will be fun seeing how you react to AU's time under Gus going forward.

Henry played out of his mind. The rest of the team did not. I don't see a problem with that statement.

Auburn at least covered. Alabama was favored by 17 and lost by 14.

It's tough keeping current with all the slogans.

I think the scheme kept FSU on their heels all night. Talent is why everyone thought the game would be a blowout. AU is stockpiling talent with the rest of the teams. That is why the fear of the HUNH is felt at Bama and other places, imagine what talent and gimmick plays will produce.

I see a difference in the two statements.

You may not have meant what I'm thinking, and I hope you didn't, but I'm assuming you did.

Played his arse off and played out of his mind are similar. No?

This is what I'm referring to...

That statement makes it seem like you think the rest of the team didn't play their arse off, meaning they didn't care and didn't really try their hardest to get the victory.

Henry played out of his mind. The rest of the team didn't. Now whether that was an issue of talent, motivation, or coaching I'll let you decide.

I thought he was the truth, so how did he play out of his mind? That is saying he won't replicate that kind of play consistently in the future.
