What does Marshall's head coach and Ole Miss' offensive line coach have anything to do with this?

Once I finish law school, I'm moving to Monroe to become a defense attorney. Apparently the DA will do your job for you.

But he's still technically facing felony charges until his probation is up, and universities frown on that.

Monroe Def. Attorney believes

If it's HIS defense attorney, then of course he would say that regardless of what he actually believes. If it's just some random defense attorney in Monroe, who cares what he thinks?

Oh, and...

quote:

felony will be reduced (thread title)

=/=
quote:

it’s imminently possible (actual quote from article)

I have no idea what the disposition of his charges will be, but some random defense attorney in Monroe saying it's "imminently possible" that it could be reduced means nothing. Of course it's always POSSIBLE that any charge may be reduced.

Irrelevant. Going by the quote, the attorney doesn't believe it "will be" reduced, only that it is "imminently possible". Obviously any quote is assumed to reflect the belief of the person quoted, with some exceptions in certain situations.

As I predicted he will not see any jail time/probation or sit out any games.
