This has been said a whole lot. The DA isn't just going to try and frick them to spite Bama. Just about everyone knows this ends in some kind of deal.

The thing is, there are lots of different kinds of deals, and not all of them allow for him to play football anytime soon. A suspended sentence for a felony, with charges to be dropped after a set period of probation, is a very good deal. But he's still technically facing felony charges until his probation is up, and universities frown on that.

"All charges dropped. Only caveat, you must transfer to UL-Monroe for your final 2 seasons. Case dismissed."
