To bad you guys did not get Pollard, I like seeing kids stay home to play for schools in their home state, unless they pick Mizzou then it is OK to leave.

Dude you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Ole Miss plays well at home and i guess this bowers guy is good i dont really know? But that can't do anything but help our chances.

Bowers is the best player in the SEC at this point.

I feel like ole miss does a good job of supporting all 3 of the big 3 sports.

For sure. OM fans are just itching to be good at anything,

I would personally rather be solidly good across the board with occasional years of greatness than have one sport where we excel but are bad at most others.

I think that's part of what's bothering me about the analysts saying the SEC is so bad in basketball. We dominate everything else, and I think we should be a strong conference in hoops as well. I'm glad Ole Miss has some basketball fans!

Its hard for us to get the 5 star players to stay in state. Most of them jump to big name programs (if they make good enough grades)

Ole Miss basically destroyed Tennessee last night, they have a good team. I don't think this weekend will be easy, and actually think we'll be really lucky to win.

It all depends on which AK shows up. This will either be a close OM win or blowout MU win. I'm not sure if the Rebs can hold a lead just yet.

He is the leading scorer on the team and probably the second most important player behind Pressy.

Guard? Forward? I doubt he is the best 3 point shooter cause i think he resides in Oxford

Very worried about this game

should be. Ole Miss looks pretty good (last night first time seeing) and the TadPad isn't easy to win in if the Rebs are good

Phil Pressy runs the show
Jabarai Brown will score 20
Alex Oriaki will grab 15 rebounds
Earnest Ross will have 15 pts
Keion Bell will dunk the ball at least once
Jankovic will pick up any slack from Bowers being out
Chan will just be there because he is there

I watched most of the game - y'all looked really good.

And as far as Bowers goes - 5th year senior who missed last year due to an ACL. He's better now than he was before he got hurt - a better pure shooter. He's got a great inside game, and now he can also knock down the 3. Both his ability and leadership will be missed Saturday.

He is a forward but is shooting 52% from 3pt land. How well is your guy shooting it this year?

Reginald Buckner will dunk at least 5 times.
" " will block anyone and everyone at least 6 times.
Murphy Holloway will record another career double double.
Derek Millinghaus will jack up at least 5 30 footers.

We have one of the best basketball supporting fanbases on this board, you'll see that throughout the year.

Funny too, because we are historically the worst team in the league.

Brown shot well against Alabama the other night. If he can have a good night, it would help us.
