Tell me about your team tigers. Only game I've seen this year was against bama on Tuesday night.
btw should be a good crowd Saturday:

I can't make it because it's my GF's Bday
I wasn't that upset at first but I jumped back on the bandwagon after last night.

Bowers will not be playing so I am worried about this game. What time does it start and is it on ESPN?

Believe it's at 7. Not sure about TV

I think it is at 8:00pm ET so probably SEC network or at least local coverage.
ETA: I'm not sure about TV coverage for this one I need to look into that

At least two games. We hope to have Criswell back, who can at least do an impersonation of Bowers.

It's on Fox Sports MW here. So probably local networks.

Very worried about this game, it'll be real tough to compete for the conference without a win though. I expect we will show up but may come up a little short without bowers. I just don't wanna let that Henderson kid score 32, Halloway is gonna get his though.
Can't wait, figure it'll be a good measuring stick of where I should have my expectations for the season.

Bowers is out at least 2 games with a sprained MCL. That's a shame for him too, because he's from Memphis and would have had lots friends and family at the game. We're hopeful we'll have Criswell back for Saturday, but Bowers is really going to be missed.
Should be a good game.
And to the OP - we have a lot of size and speed, and a great point guard in Phil Pressey - also known as Flip. Our depth is also a strength for us this year, they play 10 guys pretty much every game. Jabari Brown is a great scoring threat for us, as is Earnest Ross. Your press is likely to give us some trouble. Our inside presence could force you to rely on your outside shooting.

Hope we see the fire we saw in the Illini game. Effort doesn't seem to be consistent.

I'm hoping y'all have that Rocky Top Hangover! Unlike some, I don't take anything for granted, and road games are never easy. First road game in a new conference, without Bowers, plus IMO we're a little overrated? This game makes me nervous!

This. If the team that beat Illinois comes out, Ole Miss may be in for a long night. If not....we could be in for that long night!

All SEC games are televised in some capacity.
I won't be able to go.....work.

I think we will, LMA is no longer on the bench.
I am very intrigued by this matchup though, Ole Miss reminds me a lot if VCU who gave us a hell of a game earlier this season

We usually play very well at home for big games. I won't be the least bit surprised if we win. We beat top 5 kentucky at home last time they came to Oxford.

Btw as an aside I think Ross Bjork was a great hire as your AD, met him while he was here and thought he was a great guy and very enthusiastic.

We beat them in Oxford the year before that, as well.
