My favorite part is when the stadiums yells "we just beat the hell out of you" with Hotty Toddy after games.

You'll see Saturday. It's pretty cool.

Is Franklin that legitimate of a game changer with this being his first game in what, eight weeks?

If he plays where he left off, the quick answer is yes. The unknown is what effect the time off will have. If he's right back to where he left off, he is a way more efficient QB than Mauk. No knock on Mauk, because Mauk was better than Franklin in his first season, but comparing a senior Franklin to a RSF Mauk is no comparison.

Is Franklin 100% back as in he can throw just as hard and as accurate as before, or is he like Bo last season. (Bo separated his shoulder and played through it, but he was literally too injured to put zip on a ball over 30 yards. )

Supposedly 100% but they told us the same thing last year. Even if 100%, how's the timing with WR's?

JF is the better game manager. The more accurate passer on all passes 20 yards or less. He's the better reader of coverage. A much more physical runner than Mauk.

The one and only think Mauk is better at right now is deep ball passes. He has the balls to take the risk.

how many weeks has he been out / how many times has he thrown a football in his time off?

he had a second degree shoulder seperation right?

quote:

Treatment

The treatment for first- and second-degree shoulder sprains is rest. The patient will have to put the shoulder in a sling for one to three weeks, depending on the severity of the injury. Also, in addition to resting the shoulder, the patient must ice it for 20 to 30 minutes a few times a day in the beginning to ease the pain.

These are particularly frustrating injuries because they can take six to eight weeks to heal. One may not be able to raise the arm laterally beyond 90 degrees until the injury has healed.

if he hasnt been able to lift his arm for the majority of that time his timing and confidence are going to be pretty off. any mizzou fans know anything about how his recovery went? I know he obviously wouldnt be playing if the coaches didnt think he gave them the best shot to win, but it just seems hard to believe he could really be 100%.

I predict a 1TD win by Mizzou... something like 33-26 or 37-30.

Think it will be very close, very intense, and never comfortable for either fanbase the whole game.

Should be a lot of fun to watch as a bystander without a rooting interest.
