NCAA bylaw states 5-7 bowl teams to be selected by Top 5 in APR. Missouri is 2nd of 5-7 teams in APR.

Bet Kentucky would accept a bowl bid if they get one.

I would hope they do, We've played in some big bowls the last few years. Whatever bowl we got this year would be a slap in the face.

The gift bag for the type of bowl a 5-7 team goes to is probably like a $10 gift card to Applebees and some decorative soaps.

Their APR is so bad, they're crossing their fingers that teams ahead of them will decline.

Exactly which is why I'm expecting a "team hunger strike" until the 5-7 bowl offer is accepted.

Well it's not Pinkys call anyway, he's no longer the HC.

So what will he say when the media asks him why his "kids he supports/stands behind no matter what, don't deserve a bowl game"?

Answer, he won't say anything because the worthless mizzou media tards don't have the guts to ask that question.

Crossing my fingers that Kentucky gets a bowl bid. We lost to vandy and almost eku, we need all the reps we can get.

I read this as "We lost to vandy and almost eku, we need all the rapes we can get", thought he was being sarcastic, and upvoted.

I don't understand. The extra practice time is a big deal for the younger guys.

I think all the 5-7 teams should do this and they will do away with all of these ridiculous bowl games. I actually think you should have to have 8 wins to get a bowl game. Losers should not be rewarded it is like a participation trophy.

Sometimes schools lose money on bowl games, especially when the school is obligated to purchase the team's allotted tickets that are not sold.

I'm not saying this is the main reason, but it may be a factor.

clearly the reason they exist is money, so no, they wouldn't "do away" with any of the trash bowls, which you are correct, many of them do need to go away.

the school lost some up front but going to a bowl brings a bigger pie to the sec money. They might have come out ok depending on payout.

Thank God. This team doesn't deserve a bowl game, nor do I want to watch them anymore.

Good riddance. Go protest somewhere else.
