Always happens. Proximity, folks that have renewed them every year since the start in 1992, corporate tickets, etc without even mentioning the normal secondary market. It's never anywhere close to anything resembling a neutral site in the stands.

Each school gets something like 12-14k or so in their allotment. Even if you sold all of 12k, that's less than 20% of the stadium. I assure you that 95% of the 45k or so tickets not allotted to either school will wind up in the hands of Alabama fans.

Although I fricked up on this thread, I do have brain cells. I know that. But allotment selling fast = people interested. Which would force people to buy more non-affiliated tickets. That was my thought process. I just think there will be more than 16,000 Mizzou fans there.

I guess what everybody is trying to tell you in this thread, is good luck with that.

How can you assure that?

Many of those tickets are ones people have reserved yearly. If Bama makes the SECCG they go, if another team makes it they sell them.

Bama fans didnt touch the original allotment to Mizzou.

The original allotment is only 16.5k per school. The Dome holds over 71k. The majority of tickets are corporate tickets. There are around 15k Bama alumni living in the Atlanta metro who are very good at getting those corporate tickets for themselves and their families.

If the Dawgs were in it instead of Mizzou, it would be 70/30 Georgia.

Sweet first post. I guess you're too young to remember the 2012 SECCG?

There were a lot more Georgia fans than Bama fans in 2012 and understandably so.

No there wasn't

At best it was a 50-50 split in 2012...and against ANYONE else it always has and always will be a heavy leaning Bama crowd.

We have always traveled well. Even in the Shula days.

Well i guess my friends lied to me. Also, on the kickoffs "Go Dawgs 'sic em woof woof woof!" was way more prevalent than "Roll Tide Roll" through the T.V.

Oh, so you weren't actually there and would have no idea?

Oh shite, nevermind. That's as scientific as it gets right there.

Frick that nonsense.

I was in Fayetteville in 2006 when Leigh Tiffin missed like 35 extra points and at least 17 field goals.

Back when Mitch Mustain was still good.

Awesome experience overall. Terrible outcome to have driven 9 hours. Shula.

Using that logic, there were more Verne Lundquists than fans at the game.

This might be an even split if it were in Kansas City

Haha 50/50 at best? The SECCG will always be a home game for Georgia. Even against Bama or AU. At least 60/40

not that we didn't outnumber LSU in the dome a few years ago or anything though
You didnt. It was 55/45 or greater LSU, until the end

Either the UA fans weren't as excited about kick offs, or the TV mics were closer to the UGA side.

Georgia didn't have close to 60% two years ago.
