isn't Tuscaloosa like 4 hours from ATL? of course you'll travel well

Yea, Atlanta is the only place Alabama travels well too. It's definitely just the proximity.

2.5 hours

not that we didn't outnumber LSU in the dome a few years ago or anything though

It was about 70/30 last year. I'm sure it will be similar this year. They are better than twice as close and their fanbase is a lot bigger than ours. Just the way it is.

Bought my two tickets today from a UGA guy working in their AD. He had 30 more and I'm sure most if not all will go to Bama fans. I'm going to guess 75/25 Bama.

I said 60/40 because I was told by people we sold all of our allotment, and I know a lot of people are going that didnt buy the allotment tickets. That was a little eager in the first place, but Mike Alden is an idiot for not hanging on to them until late Tuesday night or something. Why sell the rest after 24 hours? Just stupid

Bama fans didnt touch the original allotment to Mizzou.

You all probably got your hands on the second set of tickets requested by the AD that went on sale @3pm on Saturday

Congrats?

Acting like Mizzou didnt sell its allotment is bullshite.

Thanks!

It's nice to be so great that people want to pull for you in order to achieve some sort of self-validation.

Seems like our sidewalkers are willing and able to afford tickets then.

More power to em

I don't know a lot of sidewalk, WalMart jersey fans who could afford the Alabama-LSU ticket in New Orleans, especially on the secondary market where Alabama fans always destroy the opposing fanbase. I certainly didn't see many there.

I never said you didn't. Just stating the facts. The dome will be at least 75% Bama fans on Saturday.

There's threads on a few Bama boards of people picking up tickets left and right from the Mizzou athletic site.

We'll have a good showing, but there will be significantly more Bama fans which should be expected.

Each school gets something like 12-14k or so in their allotment. Even if you sold all of 12k, that's less than 20% of the stadium. I assure you that 95% of the 45k or so tickets not allotted to either school will wind up in the hands of Alabama fans.

Because that's what always happens.

Our fans dominate the secondary market every time without fail.
