I will never understand why fans of programs who have recent national titles are so insecure about their program's place in the world that they have to constantly make fun of the actions of programs beneath them in the pecking order.

But UK fans aren't insecure enough to cry if another SEC school hangs a banner for less, especially a division championship (when they had divisions).

Their sense of self-worth and self-esteem is tied up in the success or failure of a program belonging to a school they likely didn't attend because they likely didn't attend college. Or little dick syndrome. Take your pick.
