Starting CB Rakestraw, been dealing with a groin issue all season is out after having surgery. Starting LB Hopper is also out, he had a high ankle sprain against Tennessee and hasn't played since. Both want to be as healthy as possible for NFL combine stuff...

Mizzou is not dropping out of NY6 Bowl. They were #9 and just pounded Arkansas on National TV. They have a really good QB, star RB and WR and a pretty solid defense. This committee loves Mizzou. Ole Miss was #12 and struggled against Miss St. Mizzou is a feel good story for media.

At the end of the day Mizzou looked better during SEC play than Ole Miss, its that simple and its why everybody has Mizzou ranked ahead of Ole Miss

Ole Miss can complain all they want....but there is a reason why Mizzou is ranked over Ole Miss, Mizzou is the better team. SEC play proves it.
Mizzou had 1 win in SEC play that was close.....our let down game vs Florida after playing Georgia/UT. Mizzou was playing without both starting LBs ...

To be fair...Mizzou lost 4 games by less than a TD at Auburn (Should have won twice), Georgia at home 26-22, at Florida and Kentucky on that BS roughing the kicker penalty 21-17 that required the NCAA to change that rule in the offseason. ...

This is true....go back to 2007
Mizzou finished #4 in AP Poll, 12-2 Won Cotton Bowl over Arkansas
2008 Went 10-4 and 2010 went 10-3, finished Top 20 both seasons.
UT did win SEC East in 2007 and finished #12.....
