What's funny? They have them up for Big 12 North division titles too which was clearly a worse division.

Yes...also, I think they were trying to figure out how to incorporate the success in both conferences. On the other side there is a "Conference Champions" list...using generic title instead of Big 8 Conference Champs to save lettering I assume.

Over analyzing banners/championships/etc that teams claim is probably the weakest form of message board smack. The only way to avoid getting shi* on is to claim only National titles and Conference titles from the last 20 years. Pretty much the message board smack-world we live in.
