I could care less about Missouri football. Their fans are just as pathetic as Texas A&M fans. BUT, I will give credit to where it's due.
Missouri for many years has been a doormat in the Big XII. Sure, they have had some success, but nothing like what Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Colorado had.
This year is a down year for them, as was their first year in the SEC, but their overall success under Pinkel started in 2005 when they defeated South Carolina in the Independence Bowl. Mizzou trailed for much of that game, but came back, and thus a monster was born, and it's accurate to say monster.
The Big XII was very exciting from 2006-2008. There were a lot of exciting games, and one that stands out in particular was the 2007 Border War between #2 Kansas and #4 Missouri. Winner plays for conference title, and has a shot at playing for the BCS national title. Let that sink in for a minute. At the time, Kansas and Missouri FOOTBALL were national championship contenders.
Missouri, IMO, was the best team in 2007 at the end of the season. They did lose to Oklahoma twice, for their only 2 losses of the season. It wasn't a surprise they lost to Oklahoma, but more of a surprise in how they lost. Nonetheless, 2007 and 2008 with Daniel as the QB were two long time awaiting, special years for Missouri which were championship worthy in a tough conference, and they gladly and proudly display those North titles.
2007 Missouri crushed Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl Classic, the same Arkansas which dealt national champion LSU one of their two losses. I know Missouri would have won the national title had they been there against Ohio State or LSU.
Whether the SEC East is strong or weak, the fact they carried their Big 12 success into the SEC, and won 2 East titles with overall records of 12-2 and 11-3 is quite remarkable. I am glad they show off those division titles because of how young they are as SEC members. Sure, they have more to prove to say they belong, but so far, they have earned their stripes, IMO. They are doing a lot better than the farce that is Texas A&M. All the Aggies have done while in the SEC is win a fluke over Alabama, and add national championships in the offseason.
Kudos to you Missouri football.

It makes them a directional school.

What that guy said above about MU is correct. They have AT LEAST been more successful than aTm in the past 20 years and get half the hype.

You started off that long winded point by saying "I could care less about Mizzou football".
After all that, without a doubt you COULD care less about Mizzou. Congrats! You're the only person ever to use that correctly!

Oklahoma (Stoops) taking credit for Missouri and aTm success in the SEC is dishonest. The Big XII never saw Manziel and never saw his coach. Missouri had their best teams other than the Daniel era.
As for your specific comments, Missouri has one win against a ranked SEC opponent on their way to 2 divisional titles. Not only that, from 2012-2014, Missouri is 1-10 against SEC teams not named Texas ATM with an winning record. Think about that. It is the definition of fluke.

I don't see anything wrong with that.
Of course there's nothing wrong with it.
Now that the Tebowites have finally won something again they've come out of hiding looking for attention.

Over analyzing banners/championships/etc that teams claim is probably the weakest form of message board smack. The only way to avoid getting shi* on is to claim only National titles and Conference titles from the last 20 years. Pretty much the message board smack-world we live in.
At least Aggy doesn't have to worry about wasting the time to claim any.

Won't be any crowing from sane UF fans until we win the SECC again unless it's someone trolling Mizzu. Probably not this year of course. Gotta love the progress so far even in another down year in the East.
