I thought I was pretty clear. To some schools it's a very big deal. Heck, after our terrible season last year it would be a great thing but nothing to celebrate usually. The SECCG game trophy is all that matters in the end. That probably doesn't apply to everyone. I know it doesn't for me in most years. This year, hell yeah. I'll go all Mizzou fan on everyone if we make it and don't win. That would be an outlier though.

Well considering the competition in some games is a play or two, YES, a little luck along with a more favorable schedule, sometimes laughable easy schedule gives you the edge you need to win. If you don't know that by now in the SEC you have had your head in the sand!!!

Injury excuses are lame they happen to everyone. Did you forget we lost our QB for 5 games and our best corner for a few as well?
yea injury is a great excuse for your team but never anyone else, we also lost a starting guard for 2 games, a DB for the season and had RB's and other players out in various games. We had better depth and better coaching from the OC.

We won the east and finished ranked 5th, an eyelash away from 4th, which was another east team.

Dude, it was 100+ at kickoff for two of our games in CoMo last year with humidity to match.
Day game in Athens, check.
Heat will be the least of our boys concern for the showdown in Columbia East.
