I think I've elucidated that idea sufficiently.

They were all ready to fire him last year and they will be again if it's a 1st round loss and followed by no tourney next year.

Keep hoping.

Meh. I'd just as soon see the SEC do well in the tourney, including Arky. But you're crazy if people weren't calling for his head just last year.

Those people almost look as dumb as Mizzou fans wanting to fire Mike.

Almost.

He was talking to other schools about their jobs after each of his final three seasons at Mizzou, thus squeezing unwarranted raise after unwarranted raise out of us. He was known as "Suitcase Mike" because he always had his bags packed and ready to jump to another job if we didn't match their offers.

I think thats more of an indictment of the Mizzou basketball program.

Its a stepping stone program not a destination job. Any coach worth half a crap is gonna squeeze raises and extensions out of Mizzou while looking for a higher profile program.

Yeah. This is a lot like Mike's 2009 Mizzou team where he managed .500 on the road and an Elite Eight.

Ever since the midway point of last season we've been stellar on the road... we're not going anywhere with the way Mike is recruiting.

Nope. Definitely not a lie. I was one of the MANY people who wanted him to leave. The thing that Mizzou fans are pissed about, is the fashion he left. He gave us zero heads up and stopped recruiting. It really fricked us.

I was the same way. The defensive intensity was fantastic. The offense, on the other hand, was unbearable to watch. I think I feel asleep at some games...

The Mizzou administration should have known if Arkansas came calling, he was leaving.

A good AD always has a list of new coaches to fill a vacancy.

It should have been no surprise Mike left for Arkansas. That's a pretty pitiful excuse on your part.

After reading your posts, I have come to a conclusion. You're going to want to sit down for this one, it's life changing. You are mentally handicapped. You wear a helmet when you type?

With all due respect, I'm not the AD. Everyone has been calling for Mike Alden's head. This isn't a new thing. Mizzou is better off without that character. Not to mention he guy is an arse.
