They'll probably lie and say no.

Nope. In all honesty I was publicly calling for him to be fired before he even left Mizzou though. I hate his style of play and general ineffectiveness in road environments.

Sure some people might lie and say no, but whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, Mike had a notable portion of detractors in our fan-base, myself included.

Versus Kim Anderson?

Sure.

Versus the universe of basketball coaches?

Maybe.

Versus picking a coach with our new AD?

No.

Good call, Mizzou is much better off now.

I'm not saying it was always bad. Just generally.

Our '08-'09 team did fine on the road. The other 4 were not good.

Yeah. This is a lot like Mike's 2009 Mizzou team where he managed .500 on the road and an Elite Eight.

A potion of your fanbase also called him Suitcase Mike after he left despite the fact that you hired a coach that was a much bigger job hopper to replace him.

I can't help it that our AD is incompetent at running a basketball program. Had he replaced Mike with someone better that Frank fricking Haith we'd probably be ok.

In all honesty this year could be Mike's "team" where he actually does something, and then goes back to mediocrity once he loses Portis and Qualls....just like he did at Mizzou.

Mike sent his resume out for every open job almost every year and then quit coaching in December his last year here. He earned the Suitcase name here.

He won't leave Arkansas for anything short of termination, so you don't have to get sensitive about it.

Dead serious, how long is your leash with MA, if he flames out in the 1st round of the tourney this year and next year does not do any better or regresses do you still want him?
