A potion of your fanbase also called him Suitcase Mike after he left despite the fact that you hired a coach that was a much bigger job hopper to replace him.

The ensuing hire (which was not made by the fans) has nothing to do with Mike Anderson's character.

In all honesty this year could be Mike's "team" where he actually does something, and then goes back to mediocrity once he loses Portis and Qualls....just like he did at Mizzou

He's recruiting better there than he did here. He has some studs coming and some good young talent.

Dead serious, how long is your leash with MA, if he flames out in the 1st round of the tourney this year and next year does not do any better or regresses do you still want him?

A bunch of them were wanting him fired at this point just one year ago.

There are parts of MA's style that is really enjoyable to watch. There are also parts that are painful to watch. I was all on board with the fastest 40 early on but it wore on me over time.

That's how the system works. The other team gets fatigued because of the pace, like Mizzou tonight when there were 4 minutes left in the first half.

Incorrect. You're an idiot. It's patently clear, even from your smattering of posts on a sports message board. I hope, for your sake, that you are still under 25.

The offense was enjoyable, but other than that I despised it. Teams that allow uncontested layups with a half-hearted press, get consistently out-rebounded, and clank free-throws are not fun to watch.

When it works. It didn't work last year. Or the year before that. Or the year before that. Or the year before that.

Probably true but he had decent talent at MIZZOU and had he respectable W/L records but I don't think his 40 mins of hell gets ya to final 4's or Nattys.

What a joke. UAB to Mizzou to Arkansas. That's it. Y'all knew when you hired him he was ours when we wanted him. It's no slight to Mizzou. Arkansas is home.

You think that because I gave you an honest assessment of your mental faculties that somehow you own me in some fashion. That's not how life works. When 40 people notice you're an idiot in real life, you don't yell, "Sailed on!!" Well, I hope you don't.

I know you're not knowledgeable about this subject, so I'll cut you some slack on this one. He was talking to other schools about their jobs after each of his final three seasons at Mizzou, thus squeezing unwarranted raise after unwarranted raise out of us. He was known as "Suitcase Mike" because he always had his bags packed and ready to jump to another job if we didn't match their offers.
