Mississippi State is an ag school in a shite town with a proudly redneck fan base. If you are looking for recognition for the quality or your town and University you won't find any outside of your own supporters. You are a joke to most everyone.

Oxford is small population-wise, but there's plenty to do in town. Especially if you like Music/the Arts.
We're adding around 1k people a year.
I just hope we can manage to keep the small town feel when we aren't a small town anymore.
