It is a damn shame this happened.
LSU is the gold standard when it comes to tiger care. I'd cheerfully donate money to them if they started a breeding program there.

PETA is a bunch of liberal trash. Captive tigers don't need breeding programs unless you're trying to preserve a particular subspecies. Captive tigers outnumber wild tigers like 3-4/1. None of which will be re-released into the wild.
