Who said that? I love how LSU fans claim to never watch college football unless LSU is playing. You guys really hate Alabama so badly you don't watch our other games?

I seem to remember a game where AJ made a lot of tight throws on Smash against the vaunted Honey Badger as well.

But you know you went three seasons without watching a Bama game. That is really believable.

Umm, I have watched just about every Bama game. You are getting people mixed up. The anger is strong in you.

Anyway, how many TD's did AJ throw on HB?

The answer is zero.

Trying to claim Mett/Murray have any separation as being better yes. They've had the similar stats, AJ is taller than Murray, and AJ has won a lot more.

OK. Then I guess NFL scouts are "hating" too.

You really don't want to link to that do you? Did you read Mett or Murray's?

It has McCarron above both of them. I think AJ's projection on there is pretty much spot on.

Dude, AJ abused Mathieu that night. But it wouldn't have mattered who was back there in coverage. Because the throws were perfect. Leading an offense designed to take what the D gives you does not equal can't make throws. The scouts raved about his throwing at the combine. Time will tell with the NFL, just like it will for the others..

Who said it did? But you saw Murray play apparently

So going back home to Georgia, which should be obvious where I am from seeing the avi, and watching a game when I do is sad?

I just don't get why you think my world has to revolve around watching Bama. Or really, any team. I watch the few teams I care about on away games (if I didn't travel), and am never near a tv during home games.

Again, can't handle someones opinion, go back to the bama board.

LOL ya'll are funny. AJ has more mobility, that is about it. Mett has the better arm..

Not sure why ya'll get so upset.

Didn't apparently read Mett's projection on the link he listed.

None of this matters. JFF is getting drafted 1st.

I think the SEC is putting some solid qb talent into the draft this year, but I don't think a single one is nfl ready, including JFF.

I think Manziel will start this year, but I see the other SEC qbs getting their chance their 2nd or 3rd year in.

Someone will take JFF early IMO.

I mean if you are going to link something at least read all of it.

Mett

Heavy-footed with a long delivery, which translates to the pocket closing on him quickly when he moves and is forced off a spot. Takes unnecessary sacks and is rattled easily under duress. Really labors to hasten his release and get rid of the ball quickly when needed. Has tunnel vision and arms the ball too much. Tends to trigger late and frequently underthrows the deep ball. Does not throw receivers open and forces them to adjust. Can learn to take pace off the ball and throw with more touch, better timing and anticipation. Had a very strong supporting cast with NFL-caliber receivers and a stout offensive line. Weight fluctuated early in his career and arrived at LSU pushing 260 pounds. Is coming off an ACL injury and will require some rehabilitation time. Character will require closer scrutiny.

LINK

Murray

Short and short-armed with a low release point that leads to batted balls. Very small-framed with a thin waist and a body that is not built to withstand the punishment that comes in the pocket. Average arm talent. Has to set his feet and everything needs to be perfect to function well. Could stand to improve his footwork. Marginal deep-ball accuracy -- tends to overstride and forces receivers to adjust. Many passes are pre-determined and often throws to spots. Loses poise under duress and can be rattled easily by pressure. Gets too jittery and anxious (overanalyzes) in big games and has a very low winning percentage vs. top-10 teams. Long-term durability is concerning.

LINK

Both of those lists are a lot longer. And guess what? Mettenberger played with talent as well, and Murray has trouble hitting the deep ball.

Dude I haven't said a word about Murray. LOL

Is life this bad for you?

So rustled...

I am very SORRY you cannot accept my OPINION and others that Mett can make better throws.

I am sorry you watched your guy throw screens all season.

I think if Houston takes a qb #1, it should be him. Bridgewater to me will be an average starter. He will be able to win games, but probably will never take you to the promise land. Just doesn't really have an it factor to me.
While Manziel has big bust potential, he also has big playmaking potential. I'd rather take a risk than play it safe.

Then why are you screaming in a draft related thread?

I think it JFF will need the right system. IF they throw him to the wolves, it could be bad or good. You never know with that kid.
