McCarron had the top deep ball efficiency in the country in 2012. Idiots

You still would've lost him after last season. He played well though, it was fun watching him.

Not sure he did. Haven't seen stats on that from 2013. He threw for more yards at a higher % in 2013. He threw 2 less TDs than 2012. Anyone saying he can't throw the deep ball are pulling shite out of their arse.

I loved watching Mett, both seasons.
It is arguable, but I really do believe he has the biggest arm out of all the qbs going into the draft.

That being said, that doesn't mean it will make him the best nfl prospect. Love Mett, but he has two left feet. He reminds me alot of a Flacco, or even Matt Ryan. Great arms, but need a great line to compared to other teams to succeed.

Hate the Saints, but they should go for Murray. He is mobile in the pocket enough to keep looking for an open receiver just like Breesus is now.

The best part of AJ's game is his pocket mobility. If you want a QB for that then that is who the Saints should draft.

Maybe it is just cause I didn't see enough Bama games, but his arm never really impressed me. It is probably more because of the offensive system, but he never seemed to make the risky throws for big gains, or at least not as much as the other SEC qbs.

Mett and Murray both have made so many throws were there was no margin for error, and then nailed it. But this again is just all opinion. I personally think 3 of the top 5 qbs in the draft are in the SEC.

I can think of a game where he played you guys and threw deep often. So now the you didn't see Alabama play excuse is what people are using to hate on McCarron.

Why would your QB be taking "risky" throws in the first place?

It is weird to see UGA/LSU fans try to claim that they were lacking offensive talent just to demean AJ.

This year?
I probably don't remember the game since I knew we were going to lose and started drinking early, but I remember AJ overthrowing a few wr's who were wide open? And He had a long td, but only threw the ball 10 yards and let the receiver do the work.

Because thats what nfl qbs do...? Receivers in the nfl usually aren't open, and good qbs throw them open.

I am not sure why you are getting so defensive. I admitted I don't know his body of work, which is why I didn't say anything negative about him.

B/c we had QB's that could make the throw.

Why is this difficult for Bama fans? Such a sad life. If Bama isn't #1 at everything kids die.

Who said that? I love how LSU fans claim to never watch college football unless LSU is playing. You guys really hate Alabama so badly you don't watch our other games?

I seem to remember a game where AJ made a lot of tight throws on Smash against the vaunted Honey Badger as well.

But you know you went three seasons without watching a Bama game. That is really believable.

It is ridiculous with you. Someone admits that they really haven't seen AJ outside of their own games, so obviously that means they are hating?

Go stay on the Bama board if you can't handle other peoples opinions.

In your defense, I'm sure all of those throws AJ made perfectly against yall in Nola are forever blocked from your memory. He can make all the damn throws. Will he succeed in the NFL? Who really knows? Same can be said for all of the SEC QBs coming out this year..

Ha, well for starters, I was blackout before the game even started. Don't remember a single thing from that game, still refuse to watch it.

But last part is what it comes down to. No one knows. This year especially compared to recent years in the draft. I just like Metts arm and Murrays presence in the pocket compared to other qbs. I am also not a scout for a nfl team.

Well when you are a student, and you tailgate all day and don't have a tv, you don't see other games. Even during away games, I usually spent my time doing other things before LSU played.

I am not sure why it is so difficult to understand that my life didn't revolve around Bama games.

Who said it did? But you saw Murray play apparently. If you are intentionally skipping Bama games that is a whole new level of sad. My life doesn't revolve around LSU games but I've seen you guys play someone else other than us over 2 years multiple times.

I am not going to claim I didn't see Mett/Murray play to hate on them.
