I see you are a prick everywhere.

Your right. He was only able to throw the ball far once and then never again.

It does. Which makes the stats actually quite useless.

I'm confused. Were you trying to prove him wrong with an example of an underthrown pass?

A throw for 50+ yards?
Here is another qb for comparison.

drew overthrew it, Matt under threw it
that's your argument for arm strength?

Yeah, its funny that he overthrew the ball, but it still didn't go as far as Matt Ryans ball. Matt was 5 yards deep in the endzone, and hit 5 yards on the other side of the 50.
Breesus threw from where Julio caught his pass, but his hardest throw that was suppose to lead him in the endzone could only make it to the 5 yard line.

are you really arguing that Brees was trying to throw in the end zone? to whom? the empty space past the receiver and defense? good god man
Posted on 3/2/14 at 11:58 am to TH03
Do you not see the original route that the receiver was running? It was to the endzone, and then he had to cut back inside because of the "overthrown" ball didn't make it far enough.
I guess it could be argued that Brees was intentionally throwing into that space? But why would he intentionally throw an interception?

lolwut?
it's pretty clearly a ball overthrown by 2 or so yards.

So the receiver wasn't suppose to stay straight the entire way? He was suppose to be surprised and break off his route and come inside to make a play on the ball?
Guess we just have different opinions on what overthrown is. I like to consider it when the qb throws it to far, not when the receiver has to cut back in for the ball.
Guess some qbs accuracy just isn't to great past 25 yards.
ETA: Why is a SEC thread have an entire page about Matt Ryan.

I have no problem with the SEC QBs. But Bridgewater. What the hell makes him so special? Seriously? I wanna know.

I think the same thing.
He has the chance to be a good qb, but not a great one IMO. I would rather take a risk on a Manziel who has much bigger upside (and bust potential).

But it goes to the style of offense you guys ran just like the stats about AJ.

Can anyone think of a better year for conference QB's? Basically 5 of the best 15 in the country?

Same here. He didn't play nearly the competition that Manziel, McCarron, and Mett did. Outside of UCF, who they lost to, their schedule was absolute shite. They hung 20 on Houston while Johnny hung 42 on Alabama. AAC defenses are not SEC defenses.
