make a right on airline highway and you're a 10 minute drive from one of the great food cities in the world. I'm not saying Metairie is a good location but decent restaurants isnt a concern.

Kenna brah does suck.

Seriously, why move from one suburb to another suburb? Metairie is a dump.

anywhere that isn't in the states of Alabama or Mississippi is a massive improvement.

They can dump their crap at a Pilot while leaving town, Tiger Lane has the electricity hookups they need. Memphis did a nice job with Tiger Lane. Still wish they would build a stadium downtown, though. Man, go watch a game and walk ten minutes to eat at Gus's, cross the street and try out micro distilled vodka and Whiskey, mosey back to Beale and listen to some music and stumble back to the stadium for a game in the evening. Crawl back to the hotel across the street. Sleep. Wakeup. Repeat. All while not once touch a steering wheel.

I don't go anyway but if they stuck that thing in Memphis I could then say I will never go.
That is the biggest POS city,.. maybe in the United States.

Nashville could be an option.

Doubt it ever leaves Hoover tho.

Do you mean every two days? You don't RV, do you? Electric only with no water ?? and no sewer is basically dry camping.

I wasn't commenting on tiger lane itself. But RV'ing into town and then parking your RV miles away from the stadium doesn't really make a ton of sense.

There are a lot of great options in the southeast. Regions Field in Birmingham is a really nice ballpark downtown. I also think Memphis and Nashville are home runs. I don't think New Orleans is a good option just because the park isn't downtown. New Orleans is the best for football events because of everything downtown being within walking distance.

Biloxi and Pensacola both have nice new minor league parks, and either would be fun for a few days.

Unless Zephyr is gonna do some remodeling and upgrades I don't think it should be in New Orleans.

I really hope they move the tournament location around every 3 or 4 years. It would be fun making the trip to different locations to watch the tourney. Oh, and it does not need to be at the Hoover dump anymore.

I don't think you get the local support that is needed in a rotation like that. Like it not, Hoover, Vestavia, Pelham, Mountain Brook locals account for a good portion of the day time attendance. It takes time to build that up. A one year rotation would be a disaster for tournament attendance.

You don't think Memphis locals with MSU, Bama, Arkansas, Ole Miss roots would't come? You have,'t seen the mid week attendance for Ole Miss and Arkansas games against Tigger High have you. Memphis would set attendance records, period. That isn't anything but a bunch SEC fans living in disputed territory and Downtown Memphis isn't Whitehaven, it's getting pretty gentrified these days.

You could have it Argentina and MSU, Ole Miss and LSU fans would come. I have been in Hoover Met at the 10:00 AM games watching, say, Florida and Arkansas. Neither teams' fans go to Hoover in droves. There are still 3-5 thousand in the stands. It would be several hundred were it not for local turn out.

Same would happen in Memphis. You can tell who lives close to Hoover in this thread. In the end it will come down to money, are other cities willing to buy it out of Hoover. Money talks these days. But don't give us that Hoover has more fans nonsense

Hell I could see a city getting it for threes years at a time and between three year stands have a one off location like a Biloxi or Pensicola or even a Montgomery. BIrmingham's new park could host. Just bulldoze Hoover and put up spec homes.
