Any arkansas QB, regardless of name, has a helluva lot more expected of him than any Bama QB. That's not to take anything away from AJ. But you're f'ing high if you think Wilson doesn't mean more to Arkansas' success than McCarron's to Alabama.

It's just the difference in offenses/personnel.

No, they get mad if you do not give the QB more credit than they, likely, deserve. It isn't enough for them to admit that their strategy is based around 1. Defense 2. Running the ball 3. not turning the ball over

AJ has done a good job at #3 which is all he expected to do. If he didn't and the defense wasn't good, you end up with a Nutt coached team...

Nice dodge. Completely ignore the entire thread and just revert back to our game, which really has nothing to do with anything.

We are an incredibly one-dimensional team right now, with a very weak o-line to boot. This means that when a defense comes out, there are going to fully expect us to pass a large majority of the time, and will get to our QB a lot because our o-line is very inexperienced.

I can't begin to tell you how many times Tyler was able to make a laser pass despite knowing that he was about to get drilled. He does this time after time in a game, yet gets back up and runs the next play. Your QB knows nothing of this. He has Trent's large, muscular black teet to suck on the entire game while he is comfortably nestled behind one of the best offensive lines in the league, against exhausted defenses who didn't even get a chance to get some water before they had to come back on the field after their offense went 3 and out. The scenarios literally couldn't be more different.

AJ would have 3x as many interceptions and probably be out due to injury if he played on Arkansas right now

You are literally the first person to ever say that Tyler Wilson and arguably the best receiving core in the nation is "overrated".

I doubt that.

I know that your QB and WR's are all you guys have to brag about and you get all pissy if anyone downplays their accomplishments. BUT, I hate to tell you, they're not as talented as you think they are. I'm not saying they aren't good. I'm not saying Bama's are better. I'm just telling you if those same guys were on Ole Miss's team, we wouldn't know any of their names.

Petrino's offense makes them into stars, just as Saban's defense makes players into stars.

Yeah, then AJ could ask Tyler what it is like to throw a pass further than five yards down field.

They then could compare notes

Only after AJ lets Tyler know how it feels to be heading for a NC.

Shouldn't you Arkansas fans be flaming some LSU guys?

Bama already beat that arse. Stay out of Bama-related threads. TIA.

117/174/1380/9/2

Lee has more touchdowns and fewer interceptions on 39 fewer attempts including a flat out drop from a wide open Randle in the endzone against WV and another where Randle ran out of bounds at the 1 against Florida.

Lee has def come a long ways since 2008. He'd probably have another couple if not for putting JJ in on the goal line.

To be honest, Sims took about as many snaps away from AJ in the Kent State game as JJ has taken from Lee lately. So that point is somewhat moot.

Perhaps, but they weren't in the redzone, like JJ had and ran. That's not taking anything away from AJ at all. AJ has been having a terrific year, especially for a first time starter. Can't deny Lee has been having a good season too though.

Randle just isn't what was expected from a #1 recruit. Funny that he was compared to Julio coming out of high school.

Anyways, are you really adding dropped passes to bolster your claim? If so, you can add a td, and subtract an interception from AJ's resume.
