Maybe UA would be in the hunt for the National Title if they had a QB like Tyler Wilson.

Now, that is stats for the season. You can't say "those are his stats" without including all the stats.

His numbers are looking to be almost the same as McElroy's were in 2009.

This isn't difficult. In the OP's initial post, the passing yardage and TDs are shown. Then, as a sidenote, the number of INTs in the last five games are shown. Which is ZERO. Nadda.

Saban tried, and failed.

If only our QB play wasn't keeping us from a national title chase.

I agree, it isn't that hard to throw a glorified toss or lateral.

His percentage should be higher.

The point of that sidenote is to show his improvement. He's taking care of the football.

I can dig it. But an Barner might tell me - only counting since 1980 is a sidenote to show Auburn is the present/future - Alabama is the past. ...or something similar.

If you're gonna post stats then post them all.

For instance.

Tyler Wilson

quote:

135/208 1779 yards 64.9 12TDs 3INT

Or I could say, Tyler Wilson has 5 TD's for 772 yards and zero INT's in his last two games.

I just made Wilson sound good. You see?

Yeah, then AJ could ask Tyler what it is like to throw a pass further than five yards down field.

They then could compare notes.

Is it really not obvious what the sidenote was for? I mean it's not like the entire article glossed over the INTs A.J. threw in the Kent State game. The point was that a young QB is taking care of the football, when everyone said his "gunslinging" mentality would do the opposite.

Then AJ could tell him:

15/20 200 yds 10.0 yds per pass 2 TD's

vs his

22/35 185 yds 5.3 yds per pass 2 TD's 1 INT

Who said this?

Link?

AJ is doing exactly what everyone thought Saban would allow him to do.

Now you and AJ Settle...the...frick...down.
