Seems like alcohol is just as much a peer pressure related drug as anything else.

Do you not have respect for those who cave to alcohol consumption as well?

Not when it's abused. Last I saw, alcoholic beverages was legal, also.

Caffeine is far more addictive than weed.

I think you're right to a degree. I'm sure he had a chat with Coach Miles and was told he had to show he was serious about straightening up before his rejoining the team would be considered for 2013. I think this is one of the things he decided he had to do to show Coach Miles he was serious about cleaning his act up. I don't think he would have done this on his own.

How is he paying for rehab? That shite ain't cheap, and most insurance don't cover it 100%.

Sounds like the kid has tons of support, even from his LSU family (Miles) - ball's in TM's court now.

So he smoked some weed, never thought he would get kicked off the team because I mean... It's weed. Now in order to save face and get back on LSU next season he's using rehab as some PC consuit. Dear God sometimes America sucks.

No you got it wrong, the guy is legitimately addicted to weed to the point where he can't stop on his own.

Sure you can.

But if you're an athlete and you test positive, the NCAA (and LSU) doesn't give a shite if you're a casual drug user or an addict/abuser of drugs.

This whole argument about whether he's an addict or not is a moot point. If he wants to play ball, he needs to stay away from all drugs.

None of us know to what extent he uses whatever he uses.

Not trying to single you out, just a general comment on the situation at hand and a lot of the douchey speculative comments in this thread (not yours).

I hope to hell TM7 isn't our next Cecil Collins case. Best thing he has going for him is his parents. Saw them on WWL one morning and they really seem like great folks. Hopefully this is just the wake up call TM7 needed to grow up and learn what his real priorities need to be.

Wait, he's going to rehab for weed?

Weed?

Marijuana is not a drug.

I used to suck dick for coke.

Now that's an addiction.

You ever suck some dick for marijuana?
