I certainly hope this young man can return from his ordeal and be successful in his endeavors. Many families have been affected by the problems of addiction whether it be alcohol, prescription drugs or street drugs. Let's not judge but wish him a speedy return.

I still haven't counted out the possibility of him making it back for the bowl game.

Remember JJ last year at this time getting kicked off the team indefinitely?

Dude was charged with a felony and made it back by the Kentucky game.

However, I consider the odds of TM7 making for a bowl game slim to none but not impossible.

He's just a kid that has been through A LOT! I hope he comes back. I also hope he doesn't play against Arkansas

If weed makes one lethargic, could you imagine his level of play clean?

If anyone can help to Salvage Tyrann, John Lucas can help him. Our prayers out to Tyrann and family.

Not quite, I would say a PR move would have been to get counceling or out patient rehab while transferring to another school and playin football.

This seems more like a guy who truly understands the effects his addictio whether weed or otherwise will have on his life. Also seems as though he may be following the steps LSU has given him in order to be considered for reinstatment next season.

I respect him more than alot of sports stars out there. He is willing to sit a year and put his career on hold to get his life straight and finih a commitment he gave to LSU in returning possibly to the team. Shows heart determination and will. Also shows his love for the Purple and Gold and also Les Miles.

I widh him the best no matter how it turns out

Lolwut?

A bigger PR move is to give up the game you love to kick a pot "addiction." Its already working too within the LSU fanbase. Y'all are taking the bait, but I cant really blame y'all if it means a tiny chance he returns to your team next year.

If he was doing outpatient counseling it would barely evenbe a news story.

my money's on him failing another test before his college career ends.

hope the guy get the "help" he needs, but seriously who goes to rehab for weed? this is such a PR move to help fix his image which has taken a huge hit and will likely have cost him a sh*t ton of caesh. under the iron fist of Goddell and his player conduct policies, NFL teams wont take a high draft pick risk on him with this on his file.

PR move #2 is to come out claiming he's found Jesus again. worked for Deion.

If he's going for serious drugs beyond weed he wouldn't ever be allowed back on the team nor the university even.

Not true. I've had friends go to rehab for serious drugs and be allowed to return to LSU.

Hope he betters himself. Having said that, I'll never understand anyone using any drugs. It's clear the path they lead to. The folks I have respect for, are the players, people in general that never cave to peer pressure and don't go that route.

Matheiu felt he was bulletproof, invincible, and larger than life.

^^^ That is exactly the feeling got when I snorted a little blow back in my college dayz.

Good luck to the kid - I hope he gets his shite together and can make it back on the football field somewhere. He's a player I enjoy watching.

This, I couldn't imagine going through life without experiencing everything it has to offer. If everyone took more LSD the world would be a better place.
